This the VFV Forums thread where we post the Circa Sports Million weekly lines and consensus/leader plays through the season. These threads have been very popular over the years and are what brought a lot of people to VFV for the first time (especially back when the then-Hilton was reluctant to even post the SuperContest lines and everyone's picks on their own website because they wanted everyone to come into the property). Oh, how times have changed LMEAO!
Here is the story on Circa's record-setting entries in both Circa Sports Million and Circa Survivor: https://www.vsin.com/circa-sports-mi...ntest-records/
In summary, Circa Sports Million IV drew 4,691 entries at $1,000 apiece, breaking its own record for a traditional NFL ATS contest (5 games a week vs. a contest spread) that it set last year with 4,087. Circa owner Derek Stevens guaranteed a $6 million prize pool, so there's an overlay of $1.309 million with first place -- which was won by VFV Forum member Durbify -- guaranteed at $1 million.
The big news was Circa Survivor drawing 6,133, a record for any Vegas football handicapping contest, exceeded its $6 million guarantee.
Circa Sports Million co-leaders DONT_STOP_BELIEVING-3 (alias of @CarmineBiancoWT) and CT TRIGG-2 (both 18-1-1) split the top 2 1st Quarter prizes of $150,000 and $60,000 and will collect $105,000 apiece. Five entrants (walterfootball.com-1, ACTION SPORTS CENTRA-1, PEPPER PICKS-1, TAIL PARTY-2 and WOSSAKOW-2) tied at 18-2 and win $13,000 each. IEAnalytics-1 (2-18) won the $25,000 1st Quarter Booby Prize for having the worst record.
#CircaSportsMillion Top 5 Most-Selected Teams went 4-1 in NFL Week 4 (13-7 on season) w/ wins by MIN -2.5 vs. NO in London (No. 1 picks improved to 4-0), DAL -3 vs. WAS, LV -2.5 vs. DEN, AZ +1.5 at CAR; lone loss by PIT -3 vs. NYJ
#CircaSurvivor is down to 1,222 live entries after eliminations on Steelers (177), Lions (91), Colts (49), Browns (8) & Panthers (3); 689 escaped w/ Packers winning on FG as time expired in OT; 6 pending on Chiefs (2) & 49ers (4)
