I'm sure some of you noticed huge gap that Personal Gourmet closed in last 3 weeks......they lit it up at 80% ATS, went 12-3.
Entry was 4.5 games out of FIRST after week 14, amazing run to WIN THE TOP PRIZE.
@P_J had 52.0 points and lead at the time (through week 14).....NOT rubbing anything in, just saying PG crushed it with a HUGE RUN to CASH the $1.4MM!!!!

As for tipping, it used to be much higher...industry standard was 2% for a while but now most proxies don't require tip, but it's still right thing to do. I've never had anyone tip less than 3% (and that was on big amount), usually closer to 5%. I also think it's fair to just tip on your net winnings if you want to deduct entry fee, etc. but it's up to the individual.
Check arrived this morning.
Sports book manager informed it was up to me when I do my taxes.

Congratulations to all the winners!!! Nice payouts!! Tough effing contest to cash in...
I didn't follow it super close as I was busy getting bounced out of Survivor pools where you only have to pick ONE team WITHOUT a point spread! LMEAO!
Don't put all of your winnings on RED on the roulette table!
Nice article on Squarepants/George/King/Nito!Last edited by Seahawk Rick; 01-17-2019, 07:45 PM.

Hey Dave,
I was keeping track of the GN contest this year and noticed that they always posted the peoples picks so late and many times 1 hour before tip off on Sat morning! Is there anyway you can tell the organizers to put the picks up earlier, perhaps release the picks after the deadline just like the Supercontest?

This is a common complaint, and one of the things the GN contest doesn't do as well as the SuperContest. It wasn't as bad when GN had a 2 p.m. Friday deadline and the picks would be posted within the hour...unfortunately, the people who post the stuff to their website aren't able/willing to post after the 10 p.m. Friday deadline this season and we always had to wait until they came into work Saturday morning -- and, yes, it was inconsistent. They've been told this is a problem and hopefully something is done to resolve it. They're taking input about all aspects of the contest, so I'll pass on your other request for totals to be reinstated, but I'm doubtful that will happen unless they were sure that those wouldn't move so much. And then fact they had such a huge increase in entries this past year without having totals probably makes them think there wasn't any opposition to that change.
Question: If the organizers had to stay til 10P to take the last minute people who turned in their picks, what's 5 or 10 or 30 mins (max) to merely post the selections ?

So why would anyone in their right mind GIVE AWAY those winnings by dropping the dealer some $1 tokes to make him feel better about his minimum wage job? Dont understand the ridiculous logistical BS in this so perhaps you can enlighten me with your words of wisdom. Thanks.
Tony Miller announced that the Golden Nugget is going to start accepting registrations on March 8...haven't heard what deadline they're using, but since they've already set a date I assume that decision has already been made final and submitted to gaming. We'll try and find the answers well in front of the March 8 start. Miller only Tweeted that it's still $1,000 entry, NFL and NCAA sides only, but entries per person increased to 3 (was 2).
