    Bengals +3.5 (William Hill)

I think QB Burrow will have his ups and downs but I think he’ll have enough to cover this number. Chargers lost one of their best defenders in James and I’m not a big Tyrod Taylor fan. Nixon, Green and Boyd will do enough on Offense to be a nice live dog and even get the straight up W.

    GL to all

      BALTIMORE RAVENS -7.5 (WESTGATE)

As I stated in the Survivor thread, my motto is Always Go Against Cleveland, lol....This line is already up to 9 in some places, so the 7.5 is a gift if you ask me. Lamar is the real deal, and Baker, well, he isn't. This CLV team did make a few additions during the off season, but they still have way too many divas at WR. And in my opinion, they way overpaid for TE Austin Hooper....as a Falcons fan, he is not worth what he was wanting, which is why ATL let him walk. Tough road division game to start for a new HC and OC. The experience on the home teams staff is what makes the difference here.

      Cleveland Browns 13
      Baltimore Ravens 27

Best of luck to all and here is hoping everyone is healthy and safe!

My pic this week is the Colts minus 7 at Jacksonville.
Philip Rivers going to be a man on a mission this year to prove
ha has something left. Don’t think he will take as many chances of
throwing into tight windows due to knowing he is getting older and that’s basically why the chargers didn’t resign him. They have talent on the offense to mesh with Rivers. Jacksonville is going to stink nobody wants to there with a second year quarterback I don’t know expect them to win 4 and I’m giving them credit at that guess. Go colts

skycam...Please use the formatting Cotton laid out in the rules area. You need to post the source of your line you are posting also.

KC -9 Circa Sports, William Hill, Stations

Chiefs retained most of their roster in the offseason, and picked up a promising running back in first round of the draft. Texans start season with a bunch of questionable players who might not play Thursday night. Also, Texans are just 2-8 ATS in last 10 Thursday night football games. Chiefs consistently one of the top teams ATS in past two years with Mahomes under center. Good to be back for another season. Good luck to all! Stay safe everyone!

          Bal -7.5 (Westgate)

Won a lot of picks last year off of three teams, and Bal was one of them, one of the best. To start this season, the Ravens are #2 ranked in FPI and #3 ranked in DVOA. By comparison, Browns are #19 ranked FPI and #24 ranked DVOA. Bal has 12-1 streak SU, and went 10-7 ATS in 2019, 8-2 ATS last 10 games. Cle was 5-10-1 ATS last season, and 2-6 ATS on the road. Bal just better at virtually every position. Bal wins by two touchdowns, maybe even more.

Chiefs -9 (Westgate, William Hill, Stations)

Chiefs are loaded again this year, best record against the spread last year - and also best against the spread since 2018. Texans were in bottom third of nfl offensively, defensively, against the spread, and in turnover margin. Expected to regress further this year after losses of Clowney on defense and Hopkins at wide receiver. Texans limping into season opener as well. Texans bottom ten team, reigning champ Chiefs look absolutely primed for a repeat. GLTA!

                Bal -7.5 (Westgate)

The three potentially biggest blowouts this week according to Prediction Tracker are KC by 22, Bal by 24 and NE by 24.5. Not sold on revamped Patriots yet, and since the two other teams had largest scoring margins (and covered larger numbers quite regularly) I am going to stay with what has been working for me. Browns injuries have piled up, including to three CB's. Don't think they'll be able to hang in with the Ravens in a high scoring affair, at least not if the stout Raven's D (which was #5 last year) has anything to say about it. Net QBR favors the Ravens by 31 points (Brown's Net QBR last year was -20.6). Chiefs and Ravens both looking at scoring a lot of points, but Raven's D better, and I get a better line at -7.5.

                  Arizona +7.5 (Westgate)

Last year Arizona went toe n nail every snap and lost 2 games to the Niners they could have won. This year Arizona is a better team and may actually get a win. Also SuberBowl losers have a poor record especially in week 1 following SB loss. Im rolling with Arizona early and often.......

                      SEATTLE SEACHICKENS -1.5 (TI)

This pick is just to jab Cotton in his Coors Light infused belly!

A lot of pundits have SEA making the playoffs with some seeing them make a big playoff run. I'd be in that camp if they would have gotten a top tier pass-rusher to help a team lacking in sacks last season...They didn't. The O-line is a question mark also as it has been for years. They do now have one of the best secondaries in the NFL with the addition of Jamal Adams and maybe they help the line get sacks by having great coverage...We'll see. They are set at WR/TE and the RB and QB situation are in great shape. 10am starts haven't been an issue for them as they go two-days early to help with the adjustment. They were 7-1 on the road last season. They've had a good camp with no major injures so let's see if my birds can fly high and poop on Cotton's feathered freaks! SEA by 3.

                      TENN TITANS -2.5 everywhere

A lot of folks are liking my initial take of AZ+7 so Ill go with my re-consideration pick. Tennesee showed it could thump with the big boys while crushing Baltimores hopes of a super bowl run and ending Bradys run in New England. While I am hoping the Broncos can continue to improve as an offense while the year progresses I think they wont be able to grind with the big boys yet. No fans hurts the Broncos as well here. and the thin air while just help Derrick Henry's cause in the second half. I think Tennesee renders Donkeys to dog food in the second half taking it 27-16.

                        Tennessee -2 (South Point)

Taking the small road favorite primarily as a bet against this Denver team and coaching staff. Hoping the Titans will continue their run from late last year with efficient offense and a smothering defense. Not sure the Broncos coaching staff can get an effective game plan together to stop the Titans. Under a field goal, yes please.

GLTA as we kick off this best part of this craptacular year.

Arizona +7.5 @ Coast Casinos........The games between these two teams last year were too close for San Fran to be laying over a TD. I'll take the generous points from Coast, the Cards will be better offensively this year and Murray needs to avoid the sacks
