2021 NFL P.O.W. Week 7 (Oct 21-25) Post Plays Here

This is the thread for the 2021 VFV NFL P.O.W. contest. The following are the rules for this year:
1. All contestants must be a member in good standing with VFV Forums

2. Players make one (1) single play ATS each week during the NFL regular season

3. A correct play results in one (1) point being awarded. A "push" or tie, results in a half point (1/2) being awarded

4. An Incorrect play results in zero (0) points being awarded

5. All lines MUST be taken from the following website each week: http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

6. All lines must be -110 or less (must be posted on above site...no buying 1/2 point)

7. Only Vegas Sports Books listed on the VI website will be allowed

8. PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW FOR ELIGIBLE BOOKS!

9. The following selections are allowed: Full Game Side, Full Game Total, First Half Side, First Half Total (NO MONEYLINES ALLOWED)

10. Plays MUST be submitted each week by kickoff of last scheduled game.

11. Plays must be in the following format (or close to it):

(This is where you will post your reasoning for this selection. It doesn't have to be a book or even a full paragraph, but more than just "I think the Falcons are better.")

12. Myself, Seahawk Rick (the artist formerly known as Cybergolf) or any other I deem so, will have final ruling on if a play is valid (ie: Wrong line, Wrong Book, Not enough reasoning given, etc)

13. The first couple of weeks I will give the benefit of the doubt to any newcomers on here...veterans, you know the rules, LMEAO

15. Week 18 will be worth 2 points for a correct selection and 1 point for a push.

16. To qualify for the playoff round of this competition, players must have a total of 10 points by the end of the regular season (week 18).

Week 6 can be summed up in one word: UNREAL!

We had probably the worst overall week in P.O.W. history, going 13-41-1 (.289) ATS. All I can say is congrats to the 13 that caught a tiger by his tail and scored the full point, and to the entry that snagged a half point.

going to grab this line early. Arizona was just a getter team than cleveland and Denver is not as good as they started. Cleveland wins by 10 easily.

I almost went the other way and grabbed DEN and the points. CLV is really beat up and I doubt if Baker is able to play...along with both Chubb and Hunt hurt, could be a rough go for the Clowns. But, that's probably why I'm sitting with 1.5 points so far, lol

Most books already have this at a pick...I think by the time we get to Sunday, ATL will be around a 2+ point favorite. MIA decided to not take the normal BYE week following the trip to London. My guess is they figured it would be an easy trip over and back against JAX...Well, Urban Grinder, I mean Meyer, had a different plan in mind. My guess is that it is an awful quiet flight back across the pond to MIA. They had several chances to put this game out of reach today, and failed to do so. Should of won this game by at least 14. ATL meanwhile is off the bye, with a short trip south to play the fish. ATL offense is one of the best in the league right now and the defense is getting better each week as well. Maybe this is just a "homer" pick, but I think my Dirty Birds head to South Beach and put an ass whooping on the Fish.

BALTIMORE THREE-EYED RAVENS -6.5 (CIRCA)

Love Lamar, love Andrews, love their defense getting better, love that they beat the crap out of a good Charger team, love that it's under a TD!

Cincinnati has played some good ball and hung tough with GB but BALT is ascending to the top level of the NFL along with a few other teams and CINN on the road is gonna find a buzz saw as the Ravens are feeling it and getting healthy each week. BALT O is humming and the D made a big leap vs LAC. Burrow gets buried and BALT wins by 10+.

Harbaugh and his staff have to be one of the best also, as they had been ravaged by injuries to key players. They just plugged the holes with whoever they could find and coached them up, and Lamar and Andrews did the rest. Very impressive. Are they still missing some key players?

They had 3-RB's out at the beginning of the season and I don't know if they are all back but Lamar is a RB himself so it helps cover for the injuries. Need to read up on who's fully back from early in the season. They'd like to show CINN who is the boss of the division.

Carolina has lost three straight games after opening up the season with three straight wins. However, Carolina plays a weak sister on the road this week and needs a win desperately if the Panther are going to make the playoffs. The Giants are pathetic this year and I see an easy win and cover fo the Panthers.

Two weak Defenses here and Hurts will hurt Vegas with his arm and legs in this one. Carr found the deep ball yesterday and the Raiders love to take shots down the field. Non-conference games tend to be high scoring games so I'm looking for this one to be in the 50's.Neither team likes to run the ball vey much so many passes should equal many points.
