    POOPING GRAPES...

I wish I could have the video of Volo and Davey watching their games Sunday as PHILLY did everything they could do to lose the game, but then they did just enough to win at the buzzer! BALT was just in the low-scoring, keep the lesser team in the game mode, but found a way in the 4th quarter to wake up and grab a W. That kind of tension can't be duplicated in any suspense movie you can name, and if you had brainwave monitors hooked up, they'd be sparking and smoking! The pressure gives you the ability to crack walnuts with your butt-cheeks! Guess what guys, there's more to come...Much more hopefully!

Is there anyone left in a bigger pool that has been holding back from posting? Let us know what you have going on so we can root you on!

GMEN barf up an L to take a few out, and SF plays Monday night with a good number of people on them, so still room to have a mini-bomb go off.

I'm writing this Sunday night as Adam's pools have a Wednesday night deadline, so let's get our VFV All Star Survivors some time to throw out their thoughts on who they'll pick, from who they have left.

Alright...Weigh who the others have left against who you have left and watch out on being the big favorite as it could have gone as badly this past weekend as it has most of the year. Time to map if you already haven't been.

    QUICK TAKES...

[email protected]The kitties will be up for this game more than any other they've played this season. They made NYG look like HOU on a bad day in their house. Seems like DET has played better since the bye, and BUFF came back nicely off the MINN madness game. I think it will be closer than the spread and in doubt in the 4th quarter. I think BUFF flew back home, and now back again Wednesday. Lot's of travel, and not much homework for this one.

[email protected]Yep, division game, but this might be one to play as DAL is taking it up a notch the last few weeks, and NYG regressing the last few weeks. Short week seems to favor the home boys.

[email protected]I feel MINN gets their head back on straight after the BUFF whirlwind and the DAL blowout. NE a decent team, but if MINN gets the DAL out of their heads fast, they should be able to find a home win stay in the conversation as an NFC contender for the championship.

[email protected]Do you trust BALT after the CAR game? I know Davey doesn't have them to use anymore, not sure about Volo. JAX off the bye might have a few new wrinkles to show the black birds.

[email protected]Commandos got something going on, and might be an under the radar pick this week to stay off the bigger faves. The QB with the beer like name has given them a spark, and they are believing they can make a run at a WC still in the suck-ass NFC.

[email protected]Forgot about TB and the boys as they were on the bye. Some rest and a new found run game might be enough to get a win in Elfland. Would rather be on a home team, but might be one to check out.

[email protected]No such thing as a lock, and easy to want to be on MIA, but everyone that hasn't used them might be on them. MIA off the bye, and will want to keep the gas pedal pressed to stay atop the AFC East.

[email protected]LVS took it late into OT with DEN, but found a W at the end of the day with a busted coverage by the Broncs. Thanks for losing DEN, makes that 1st and 2nd rounders you give the Seachickens a little more shiny! SEA off the bye. Will they right the ship after the Germany loss to TB? Back at home should give them a lift and could be a team to consider that won't get as much attention as some of the bigger faves. Not many have probably used them though.

[email protected]Stafford got his bell rung again, but you'll have to see how the week goes for him. KC is the winner most likely. Most, but not all in Adman 1 have used them though.

[email protected]See how SF fares coming out the Mexico City game, but they are only getting stronger, and NO isn't. Worth a look if you've got them to use.

[email protected]Nobody with PHIL is left in Adam 1. For the lurkers, gotta give them a look as GB is gliding towards a mountain right now, and PHILLY needs to get up and knock the crap out of someone to prove they are who they think they are.

Good luck kids...Every week will raise the stress, but I'm jealous you are getting to stress!

Yesterday was not a fun day till Eagles score on 4 th and 2 in a game I really had no business winning but I lost a lot like that also.On to
week 12 and teams I can play are Washington,Jets and Seattle and I do have a map(2 actually) and looks like Seattle right now.
In a small buy back pool 1750$ with 7 left and have Miami in that one.More Wednesday

You don't win money in these things without going through games like you had Sunday. My comeback games this season had the team I was on throwing a pick or fumbling, or missing a FG. Last year, I got all those to break my way and won dough. Don't look back, focus on this week.

The Jets? If Fields doesn't play, then maybe. Sucks to have picks in by Wednesday and not know all the injury info.

Right now it looks like MIA coming off their bye. I'm going to stick with my strategy of firing my best bullet regardless of who everybody else may or may not pick. I'm sure Dolphins will probably be the top pick.

Depending what SF does tonight looks like 28 have Miami left and I would assume like Baltimore last week will get at least 20 on them.as I have already used them I would be against them.Living in Miami I can tell you a lot of energy is going out to them.I have them in a small pool and will probably use them there. This is a difficult week picking for me but what else is new.More Wednesday

Some might save MIA for when GB comes to town Week 16.

    SURVIVORGRID.COM...

LOL...MIA over 50%. Run with the herd, or stay away incase they go off the cliff?! That is the question...

IFFF I was still alive and had MIA, I wouldn't be on them because they are such a big favorite and take out half your pool if they lose. That's just me. No such thing as a lock. MIA probably feels they can eat T-Day dinner BEFORE the game, but that's what gets the super-faves in trouble.

The rest of the list makes sense to a degree...Denver? They won't go O for the rest of the season. Equal amounts on LV and SEA...Hmmmmm. Others have used MIA other big names already, or they're finding a way to stay off MIA in case of the Florida nuke goes off.

36 Left in Adam 1 - One person has two entries left.

85 Left in Adam 2 - Four people with two entries left

74 Left in Circa - Not updated but there are 2-3 people with two entries left

      182 Left in Million +

1 person has 6-entries left - 4 of the entries he used the same team all 11 weeks - 2 entries he did 9 of the 11

1 person has 3-entries left - 2 weeks were triple picks on same team

1 person has 2-entries left - 8 of the weeks were double picks on same team

1 person has 2-entries left - all 11 weeks they picked the same team with both entries

1-person has 2-entries left - did double picks on two weeks

1-person has 2-entries left - did a double pick of same team just one week

I'll see how this all plays out, but it's making a case for the double picks. A fast way to outsville, but also a way to get deep into a pool, and have many great teams on paper left to use.

I don't see the wisdom of taking the same team with 2 entries left. That is crazy. I would always hedge. Now, you could be wrong twice but I think your odds are better to get it half right. I can see having 3 entries left and putting 2 on the same team. Anyway, different strokes for different folks. The extreme case is the man who had 6 entries in Circa and put them all on Buffalo a couple of weeks back when they lost to the Jets. That's just plain stupid.

I haven't looked at picks the circa players with multiple picks left have taken. A guy in the million + pool is doing the same with 4 of his entries. One guy with two picks has done it all 11-weeks.

Do or die strategy for sure.

28 can take MIA in Adam1. That would be 77% if everyone picked them. I will save TB for next week and SEA for the week after. WASH is interesting but I like them at home against NYG in week 15, especially with Chase Young close to returning. That is one of the best d lines. The Jets I don't trust with all the drama surrounding their qb, even with Fields being questionable. That leaves the Fish. If I lose on a double digit home fave then so be it. I can live with that. I will target Tenn in week 16. Where it gets real interesting is in the last 2 weeks. I can see this going the distance. It'll be Hail Mary time then.

          CIRCA MINI-WEEK PICKS...
          .
In Circa Survivor, there are two mini-weeks with Thanksgiving Day being one of them where all of the players need to take one of the teams on Thanksgiving and then another team on the weekend. Same thing happens at Christmas where Christmas Day and the Monday night game are a mini-week.

So, either 3 or 9 go out with MINN/NE getting action on both sides.

              ELIZABETH HURLEY SURVIVOR FANTASY PICK...

I wanted to stuff a bird this week, Lizzie is the bird of course, but her answering service said she was on vacation somewhere that my spy satellite couldn't access. I will find her, or die trying, but once she knows I've got a big drumstick with her name on it...She'll surface, and I'll be there to pounce...

NYJ...Wilson out at QB only helps them and I'll bet Volo's fortune that Field's doesn't play. JETS D is good, very good, and will be enough to grab a W. First one to 13 wins!

              WEEK 1: NO - W
              WEEK 2: DEN - W
              WEEK 3: PHILLY - W
              WEEK 4: DAL - W
              WEEK 5: JAX - L
              WEEK 6: MINN - W
              WEEK 7: NE - L
              WEEK 8: BUF - W

              WEEK 9: KC - W
              WEEK 10: SF - W

No skin in the game but league needs to do something about these fake injuries! Semien can play a bit, J Peterman not so much. There was a ton of $$ bet after it was announced that Semien is out for this game. Next thing you see he is starting. NFL best be careful as I'm sure some rerpublican lawmakers would like nothing more than to stick their noses in the business of betting. We'll see, but this is a heap of BS in the game.

That was a nice no stress day. I wonder how many will take the Browns next week? It's between them and the Bucs for me. 🤔

              • #15
In the last 5 weeks, only 12 have been eliminated. I anticipate this will be a long slog until at least week 17 when the chop may come but there are a couple of entrants that have a lot of good teams left and may be averse to that. I think it goes the full 18. I'm probably on the Browns this week. The Saints are Tampa's kryptonite and I will risk that wild scene that will unfold in Houston with DeShaun under center.

Only other option I would consider would be Tampa. But New Orleans always plays them tough. A lot of the other games are toss ups with spreads under 2. I guess I could look at one of those but I'd rather ride with a team favoured by a td. The Cleveland line opened at 4 1/2 and quickly went to 7. It will be an emotionally charged atmosphere and you wonder how Watson will handle it.
