Atlanta Falcons -2.5 (MGM)

Atlanta at home is very good despite their obvious lack of urgency or even interest in this game. The Ravens defense is legit and the Falcons offense at home is legit. What gives? I'm taking the home team based on the fact that offense - if they care at all - can absolutely put 27 points on the board at home on that fast track and the big kicker is Lamar Jackson will start his first road game in a loud dome and assuming Atlanta loads the box forcing him to beat them by throwing the football I'm not so sure the Ravens can score the 27+ points they'll need. Even conservatively here I think the Falcons take it something like 23-19.

Think this number is a little low. After Steelers predicted loss (which easily could have been a win) to Denver last week. Chargers come in with inflated 8-3 record. Taking care of the lesser squads (combined record 27-60-1) as they should including Oak twice, Bfl, Cle, SF & Arz. Losses to KC, LAR and struggled with Den. Pittsburgh has a chance to open up a 2.5 game lead in the division with Oak next followed by NE & NO they bring all they have today

Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was selected in the same draft behind Rivers and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, and he has arguably had the best career of the three. Roethlisberger's two Super Bowl rings equal Manning, and he also has the same number of touchdowns while totaling more passing yards than Rivers.
While he fell short last week against the Broncos, Roethlisberger seems to have the best shot of the three to win a Super Bowl this year, but this game is very crucial
First off, the spot is good for Pittsburgh,as the Steelers are coming off a fluke loss where they dominated the stats but shot themselves in the foot constantly. Secondly, the game will be played in 40 degree weather, something they are more accustomed to then than the Chargers. They also have been an EXCELLENT prime time team,and the times they do fall asleep are typically for the 1PM EST start time road games. Third off, I think the Steelers are the slightly better team,They have played in numerous big games against top competition, while the Chargers have lost every game they’ve played against elite or close to elite competition in the last two years (Loss home vs PHI at NE/LAR/KC Times 3). As a matter of fact, the Chargers best win in the last two years is a win at Seattle this season. Losing Melvin Gordon won’t help, as well as losing ILB Perriman/DT Liuget in the past two weeks as well. The Steelers are 18-2 SU their last 20 December games.
